Recycle the Old Newpaper Paper Download Pdf

Share
You guys cover so much on how other industries impact on environment. ever thought how much impact you guys make on the environment?

Arguably, for every one tonne of newspaper you print, you fell 7 fresh & fully grown trees... and that's a miserable act when we are seeing changing weather globally.

Why don't you start recycling the newspapers and collect it from our homes, just the way you distribute it?

Good idea - although I would like to believe that there is already a lot of recycling that happens for paper production in India. Not just recycled newspaper but other paper and trash gets used for this. ET I believe is completely on recycled paper if I am not mistaken.

I agree that a lot of recycling happens for paper production in India. I think HT can follow ET model

most relevant idea today.HT should not only recycle 99% of the used paper but also start looking at technology to reduce pulp consumption. There are excellent options like Kindles/Crunchpad etc. which can replace pulp printing...

sonica your idea is excellent but newspapers already do recycle the paper a lot. It is better to rather run up on @rookie's suggestion to look up at network of kindles to reduce on paper consumption...a beautiful but tough call to make on this idea.

This is definitely relevant for our times. I think this idea needs not only promotion but also execution by one and all.

@rookie n @recliner ... i completely agree.. coz there is already a lot of recycling for newspaper in our country...

I don't think there is any recycling going on in the print industry... its like assumption of your brain to see the good thing. As far as I know only ET & Statesment recycle paper that too for a very small % of the overall consumption...

Did anyone notice the high tides @Mumbai? Does this have anything to do with the way we are cutting down the trees? [:(]

Very relevant idea for today's times. Technology has progressed enough to help newspapers leverage recycling. You should take this 'idea' most seriously.

Hey how about introducing a Handy Gadget that displays about 40 to 50 lines and can be used as a news reader gadget.

Centrally all news media can just upload the data online from which it can download the news on individual gadgets.

Benefits :
1) Foremost, Save paper, save forest and also impacts on global warming.
2) Charges of newspapers can also be reduced as paper work, transport cost, printing cost etc reduced.
3) Anytime access any date newspapers.
4) Language translate feature already there, So no need to print in different language.
5) Sorry for one back point i.e lots of job in trouble for those paperwalas & stalls.
5) Need to add, Reading news on mobile phone is not a very good idea for 2 reasons, Most of mobiles dont have big screens & it is not user & content friendly.

Good Day,
-Deven
