Indirapuram sits between Delhi (Vaishali/Vasundhara) and Noida and is closer to Akshardham Temple than is Noida. Yet due to political jokers there is no drainage system for the high rise societies, electricity shortages are to the tune of average 12 hours a day round the year and the road connectivity to Noida & Delhi both is not there.

A lot of money has been taken by Gov. authorities in the region but it apparently vanishes like medical spirit and there is no place to follow up with either..

It is pathetic to see how opposition plays double standards against the Congress. Boycotting Common Wealth Games was totally uncalled for considering that most of the investment in the infrastructure is being carried out at a much higher pace than before. Getting out a project of the scale in such a squeeze of time not only requires investment of money but also participation of all the stakeholders (which includes Opposition) to help complete the project within deadlines. Image of the country is important, dear opposition.

Sure we got freedom from the Brits in 1947 but the legacy system is still in place and it sucks. Even the Brits have moved on. Why have such law structures which do not keep up with time, changing social landscape and lifestyle of nucleated families...?

Just look at the situation in the country. People feel they'd do better for the country by leaving the landscape and then returning after a few years. Even the topmost idea on your own forum Hindustan Times, men are seeking a balance in the Indian legal system! Common Wealth Games, just like anything else is publicly screwed and Delhi is a "disaster" today.

Do something, you aging nutcases in the Government. Or get out like Brits.

It is of utmost important to cover what people want on CWG. The current situation of withdrawn money, branding and corruption leaves us out from giving our opinions. People of Delhi want the games to happen and happen in style. Not the way things are being handled right now.
