This the event which would give a standing to our nation at global level. But the money being spent during the event drawing attention of "Aam Aadmi". 30,000 volunteers(Delhi University) are offering service free of cost for this event this Event. Whereas top Official agencies are charging for the services. Then WHY VOLUNTEERS are being kept away. there are told to report at the venue at 6.am , means they have have to leave their place at 4.30, and no public Transport starts at that time... this is a practical problem for female volunteers.
Delhi Govt. must look into the matter as soon as possible when a female volunteer leaves at 4.30.am alone. It's a question of her security in Delhi where woman are totally unsafe.
Crores of rupees spent for a single theme Song by ' A. R. Rehman'. Govt agencies are charging and making huge expenditure bills for the event. Sponsors are investing crores.
SO why volunteers are being asked to offer services free of cost. They have been only promised  merely a certificate .

You might have a Volunteer also in your place....think and comment........

A. R. Rehman...no doubt he is good and winner of Oscar award. I request everybody to listen to the song and then decide the fate of it. Does this song has any Indian touch or anything else which makes our nation bright at such a big event? Does it show any sign of Indian classics from any end? Is it really melodious?
On the other hand 30,000 volunteers (from Delhi University) are going serve through NSS for the nation in this forthcoming event without a single penny. Moreover other agencies are charging huge on behalf of service they are providing. To my surprise Govt. own agencies are in the process of preparing huge bills for the services, as it is clear from the various reports in Daily Newspapers everyday.

If  students can offer free service then why not others, who are already getting salaries?

what do you think? Are volunteers to be paid for the services or be ignored?

As we know cyber attacks are common now.Sometimes you were not aware that a attack was launched & drastically Decreases the data transmission over the globe.Normal user shutdown his PC becoz he was thinking of server was down but just 5 seconds of slowness of net speed costs us trillions of money all over the world. Major risks are for airport ground controll and the pilot of the plane becoz time mismatch during attack , Same is with banking sector & many other.
INDIA IS NOT SAFE: We are ignoring the signals recieved from our enemies but why? i dont know.In 2007 in Defence ministries computer was hacked by someone and stole confidential information related to Pakistan after tracing location server was found to be in China but no action taken.
SUGGESTION: I think govt will have to reduce the number of net connections at Ministrial Level,It will decrease the susceptibilityto attack.The Fewer External points of access which are on a network , its easy to secure the network against external attacks , Each connection required a properly configured Firewall Introduces the door of hacker.
The introduction of more single points of failure so , if one pc fails a larger portion of the govt. will be affected by the outage of network.However this availability concern is easily overshadowed by the security improvements gained by reducing the complexity of the Network.

"Surabhi" - our initiative to inculcate plant care habits among children

We  there by ensure a green & healthy environment  for & by  Our Gen-next.
Various queries have received by us from different sections of the society to initiate a movement for gifting of green plants. As  per our  experience and thoughts we have derived a plan  to start & implement to drive a strategy towards this noble cause which will ensure a greener &  healthier environment for our children. Yours suggestion to success this movement are welcomed.
The strategy how to implement this movement is as follows

In a residential  colony / society


1. Start gifting a plant in addition to a normal to gift on birthdays to kids/ neighbors, relatives   etc.

2. On the last Sunday of the month – invite the People having their birthdays in that month. To assemble in the colony park and ask each person to reap a plant,  give water and take care it for a year.

3. If any plant does not bloom  – don’t be discouraged - again reap a new one  in the month of July /Aug when rainy season is at peak.


In a School / College / Educational Institution.


1. During morning – after morning  prayer – call the student having birthday on that day/ week. Sing a birth day  song for them – it takes only one minute . Gift them a plant sapling and ask them to grow it in their home / society park. we can  check the growth of plant periodically  and Extra Marks will be given to students for plant care in final examination.(say 5%)

2. On the annual day – All  the students to whom we give merit certificate in the field of education , 100% attendance , Sports, extra curricular activities. Gift them a Plant Sapling in addition to normal certificates and trophies.

3. If the school is having enough space for planting trees than make a list of students having birthday on each day of the year. Lets take example ………………………. …on Jan 15 there is of birthday of 5 students.

1st student class kg, 2nd student class V. 3rd Student class-VII, 4th student class IX, 5th student of class XI.

Give  them a plant and ask them to reap & nurture  it  on a school ground , it is the duty of all the 5 students to take care  of  the plant, to give water and, if one or two on leave than other will take care the plant. All the students will   become friends for years and attached to school for whole life.

4. Also don’t forget teachers, Principal  , and other staff to gift them plant on their respective birthday.

In a Corporate/ business house / MNC/Govt. undertaking etc.

For Staff.

1. Make a list of all staff’s birthdays and marriage anniversary dates and e-mail address. Send   e-greeting on these days, many software/websites provide this facility free of cost. Department head / branch manager should gift a  plant to employees on Birthday. In addition to flower bouquet / any other gift.

For Customers:

2. Select the most valued customer, at least say  10% of total customers  & asks for their   dates of birth , and gift the plants to them.To implement this it is the responsibility of each and every staff to take care  of at least one customer’s details in a month. Later it will change to a week thereby  mean four customers in a month.
